Junior Quantity Surveyor - Kerry

We are currently recruiting a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join an established mid-sized building contractor with a strong pipeline of long-term work across Kerry and the South West.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Junior QS to develop their career while working closely with and reporting directly to the Managing Quantity Surveyor.

The Role
- Assist with the commercial management of construction projects from procurement through to final account.
- Support subcontractor procurement, tender analysis and package administration.
- Assist with valuations, variations, cost reporting and forecasting.
- Measure works and prepare quantity take-offs.
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
- Support the Managing QS with day-to-day commercial and contractual matters.

Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or currently working towards a relevant qualification.
- Some construction or commercial experience is advantageous, although graduates and junior candidates will be considered.
- Strong numerical, organisational and communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ambitious, practical and keen to develop within a growing contractor.
